Official Rules

Important: Please read these Official Rules before participating. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and Entrants represent that they satisfy all the eligibility requirements below.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO PLAY OR WIN; A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.

1. DESCRIPTION: The "Make My Day With $5K Instant Win Game – Period One" (the “Promotion” or "Game") begins on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:59:59 pm ET ("Promotion Period"). Eligible Entrants (as defined in Section 2) have the opportunity to play the Game on the “7-Eleven App” for a chance to win one (1) $5,000 prize per day (the “7-Eleven $5K Daily Prize”) and on the “Speedway App” for a chance to win one (1) $5,000 prize per day (the “Speedway $5K Daily Prize”) for the duration of the Promotion Period. Further requirements are detailed in Section 3. The sponsor of this Promotion is 7-Eleven, Inc., 3200 Hackberry Road, Irving, TX 75063 (“7-Eleven” or "Sponsor"). The administrator of this Promotion is Creative Zing Promotion Group, 2100 E Robinson Street, Orlando, FL 32803 ("Administrator"). The Sponsor and Administrator are referred to below as the "Promotion Entities".

2. ELIGIBILITY: Promotion is open only to legal U.S. residents physically residing in the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who are at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of participation and who meet all other requirements in these Official Rules (each an "Entrant"). If the Entrant is under the legal age of majority in their state of primary residence (a "Minor"), one of the Entrant's parents or legal guardians agrees that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Official Rules and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules on behalf of Entrant and themselves. 7-Eleven, Inc. (including Speedway) corporate employees, contractors, store employees, franchisees or franchise employees (collectively “Employees”) are not eligible to win a 7-Eleven or Speedway $5K Daily Prize. Household members and immediate family members of Employees are eligible to win a 7-Eleven or Speedway $5K Daily Prize but the Game cannot be played using the Member ID of an Employee. Promotion is void where restricted or prohibited by law.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Eligible Entrants can earn and play up to ten (10) gameplays per Day (each a “Gameplay” and collectively “Gameplays”) for a chance to win the 7-Eleven $5K Daily Prize, and eligible Entrants can earn and play up to ten (10) Gameplays per Day for a chance to win the Speedway $5K Daily Prize, as detailed below. For the purposes of these Official Rules, a "Day" means any twenty-four (24) hour period during the Promotion Period beginning at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time ("ET") and ending at 11:59:59 pm ET.

7-ELEVEN $5K DAILY PRIZE: The Entrant must have the 7-Eleven, Inc. App (the “7-Eleven App”) to access and play the Game. The 7-Eleven App can be obtained for free by visiting Google Play or the Apple App Store, downloading the app to a web-enabled iOS or Android mobile device, and following the instructions to register. Data rates may apply. Registered 7-Eleven App users are automatically enrolled in 7REWARDS. Participation in 7REWARDS and use of the 7-Eleven App are subject to Sponsor's Terms, available at https://www.7-eleven.com/terms, and Privacy Notice, linked in Section 12. The Entrant must be a registered user of 7REWARDS to earn or request Gameplay.

Earning 7-Eleven App Gameplay: Eligible Entrants must use their 7REWARDS account at 7-Eleven or Stripes locations by having their 7-Eleven App scanned or by inputting their registered phone number via the consumer-facing display/PIN pad ("CFD") or at the pump when completing a purchase or by placing an order through 7NOW to automatically receive one (1) Gameplay. In addition, if the Entrant follows these instructions when purchasing one or more "Participating Products" (as detailed in the chart below), the Entrant will automatically receive one (1) additional Gameplay per Participating Product, up to a maximum of ten (10) Gameplays per Day. Gameplays will be automatically added to the 7-Eleven App associated with the 7REWARDS Member ID within approximately 30 minutes of an eligible purchase.

Free 7-Eleven App Gameplay: To request Gameplay without completing a purchase, eligible Entrants must visit 7-Eleven Gameplay Request and enter their 19-digit 7REWARDS Member ID and the corresponding 7REWARDS email address. If the information is valid, one (1) Gameplay be automatically added to the 7-Eleven App associated with the 7REWARDS Member ID within approximately 30 minutes of the request.

LIMIT TEN (10) 7-ELEVEN APP GAMEPLAYS PER DAY, REGARDLESS OF THE METHOD OF PARTICIPATION.

SPEEDWAY $5K DAILY PRIZE: The Entrant must have the Speedway LLC App (the “Speedway App”) to access and play the Game. The Speedway App can be obtained for free by visiting Google Play or the Apple App Store, downloading the app to a web-enabled iOS or Android mobile device, and following the instructions to register. Data rates may apply. Registered Speedway App users are automatically enrolled in Speedy Rewards. Participation in Speedy Rewards and use of the Speedway App are subject to Terms, available at https://www.speedway.com/about/terms-and-conditions, and Privacy Notice, linked in Section 12. The Entrant must be a registered user of Speedy Rewards to earn or request Gameplay.

Earning Speedway App Gameplay: Eligible Entrants must use their Speedy Rewards account at Speedway locations by having their Speedway App or Speedy Rewards card scanned or by inputting their registered phone number via the CFD or at the pump when completing a purchase to automatically receive one (1) Gameplay. In addition, if the Entrant follows these instructions when purchasing one or more Participating Products (as detailed in the chart below), the Entrant will automatically receive one (1) Gameplay per eligible Participating Product, up to the maximum of ten (10) Gameplays per Day. Gameplays will be automatically added to the Speedway App associated with the Speedy Rewards Member ID number within approximately 30 minutes of an eligible purchase.

Free Speedway App Gameplay: To request Gameplay without completing a purchase, eligible Entrants must visit Speedway Gameplay Request and enter their Speedy Rewards number and the corresponding Speedy Rewards email address. If the information is valid, one (1) Gameplay be automatically added to the Speedway App associated with the Speedy Rewards number within approximately 30 minutes of the request.

LIMIT TEN (10) SPEEDWAY APP GAMEPLAYS PER DAY, REGARDLESS OF THE METHOD OF PARTICIPATION.

If Gameplays are earned or requested but not played, such Gameplays will remain available in the Entrant’s corresponding 7-Eleven or Speedway App until they are played or for up to the maximum of ninety (90) days. Unused and unexpired Gameplays, if any, may (at the Sponsor’s discretion) carry over to a subsequent Make My Day With $5K Promotion if the Sponsor opts to continue to offer such Promotion at its sole discretion. Additional Gameplay will not be accumulated if the Entrant already has a maximum of ten (10) unused Gameplays available.

Any deliberate attempt by an Entrant to exceed the Gameplay limitations stated herein, including through the use of artificial intelligence (“AI”), software or tools, bots, multiple or duplicate accounts, or any other methods intended to subvert fair play, may result in the Entrant being disqualified from participating in the Promotion. Gameplay requests or Gameplay deemed suspicious or generated by a macro, script, or other automated means will be void, and the Entrant will be disqualified. ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS MUST PARTICIPATE PER THESE OFFICIAL RULES. NO OTHER METHOD OF PARTICIPATION WILL BE ACCEPTED. Participation in the Promotion constitutes the Entrant's understanding of and full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant it determines to be in violation of any term contained in these Official Rules.

The Entrant must be the authorized account holder for the registered 7REWARDS or Speedy Rewards account associated with the Gameplay. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an Entrant or potential "Winner" in the Promotion, the Entrant or potential Winner will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the 7REWARDS account or Speedy Rewards account. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person in whose name the email account was opened, as long as such person is otherwise eligible in accordance with these Official Rules. If a dispute regarding the identity of an Entrant or potential Winner cannot be resolved to the Sponsor's satisfaction, the affected Entrant or potential Winner will be deemed ineligible. THE ENTRANT IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR 7REWARDS OR SPEEDY REWARDS ACCOUNT IS UPDATED AND ACCURATE.

4. GAMEPLAY & CLAIMING THE PRIZE: Eligible Entrants can play up to ten (10) 7-Eleven App Gameplays and up to ten (10) Speedway App Gameplays per Day, regardless of when the Gameplays are earned. The object of the Game is to tap and reveal the nine (9) digital icons to match three (3) specified icons for the opportunity to win the 7-Eleven $5K Daily Prize for Games played in the 7-Eleven App and the Speedway $5K Daily Prize for Games played in the Speedway App. The 7-Eleven $5K Daily Prize and the Speedway $5K Daily Prize are generally referred to as the “Prize” herein.

Within SEVEN (7) DAYS of playing the winning Game, each potential winner (or their parent or legal guardian if a Minor) will be required to verify address, sign, and return one or more forms covering eligibility, compliance with the Official Rules, liability, advertising, and (unless prohibited by law) publicity rights and such other documents the Promotion Entities may require (collectively, the "Prize Affidavit"). Potential winners will have the opportunity to click directly from the winning Game to the Prize Affidavit. If a potential winner fails to proceed directly to the Prize Affidavit, the potential winner will be notified at their 7REWARDS or Speedy Rewards email address within approximately three (3) hours of when the winning Game was played. If an email address is invalid or a potential winner fails to respond to or complete the Prize Affidavit as directed, the Prize may be forfeited. If a potential winner forfeits the Prize, is found to be ineligible, has not complied with these Official Rules, or declines the Prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified, and the corresponding Prize will go unawarded.  Promotion Entities reserve the right to disqualify anyone not fully complying with the Official Rules. Other restrictions may apply.

Once the Prize Affidavit is completed by the potential winner (or their parent or legal guardian if a Minor), it will be reviewed by the Promotion Entities. If any information is incomplete or appears to be inaccurate, the Prize Affidavit will be rejected, and the Administrator will follow up with the potential winner with additional information on how to remedy the rejected Prize Affidavit, which must be completed within three (3) days of notification of the rejected Prize Affidavit. If the Prize Affidavit is approved, the potential winner will be confirmed as the “Winner” of the corresponding Prize.

IMPORTANT: The potential winner (or their parent or legal guardian on a Minor’s behalf) is required to provide their valid social security number for tax reporting purposes as a condition of being confirmed as a “Winner” and receiving the Prize. Each Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other fees or costs associated with any Prize they receive. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued to the Winner from the Administrator for the full value of the Prize received in February 2026. Any deliberate attempt to falsify tax reporting information may be deemed perjury or tax fraud and may be punished to the full extent of the law.

5. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning the 7-Eleven $5K Daily Prize depend on the total number of eligible Gameplays received in the 7-Eleven App and the date/time of play. Odds of winning the Speedway $5K Daily Prize depend on the total number of eligible Gameplays received in the Speedway App and the date/time of play.

6. PRIZES: There are two (2) distinct and unique Prize groupings, as detailed below.

7-Eleven $5K Daily Prizes: Fifty-six (56) total 7-Eleven $5K Daily Prizes are available. Each Prize consists of Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000.00), awarded in the form of a check. The total cumulative value of 7-Eleven Daily Prizes is $280,000.00.

Speedway $5K Daily Prizes: Fifty-six (56) total Speedway $5K Daily Prizes are available. Each Prize consists of Five Thousand US Dollars ($5,000.00), awarded in the form of a check. The total cumulative value of Speedway Daily Prizes is $280,000.00.

Only the number of Prizes stated in these Official Rules can be won in the Promotion. If, because of a computer glitch, fraud, or other error, more Prizes are claimed than the number specified in these Official Rules, alternate potential Winners will be selected by random drawing from among all valid claimants received to award the Prize or Prizes available for the time period in question.

In addition to the available Prizes, the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may opt to offer a limited number of rewards-based incentives or coupons (each, an “Offer”) as a consolation for non-winners. Such Offers have no associated retail value.

Prize checks will be fulfilled within approximately three (3) weeks of each Winner’s Prize Affidavit being approved by the Promotion Entities. Prizes will be fulfilled via UPS to the street address provided on the Affidavit; unless the Winner has a PO Box address, in which case the Prize will be fulfilled via USPS First Class mail. The Winner is solely responsible for ensuring the address provided is accurate and includes the appropriate apartment/unit numbers, if applicable. Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost or delayed packages resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or non-deliverable addresses. All Prize values are in U.S. dollars. The Winner cannot assign or transfer the Prize claim to another person. No Prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Promotion Entities. Other restrictions may apply. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES AND ANY OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH WINNER.

7. DISCLAIMER: Promotion Entities and each of their respective parent companies, partners, subsidiaries, franchisees, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, public relations firms, employees, advertising, fulfillment, and marketing agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") will not be responsible for (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions, Gameplays or Gameplay requests; (b) app, phone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet, or other computer, mobile device or communications-related malfunctions or failures beyond Sponsor or the Released Parties' reasonable control; (c) any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or the Released Parties; or (d) any printing, programming or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.

8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES: By participating in the Promotion, the Entrant (and if the Entrant is a Minor, the Entrant's parent or legal guardian) releases all Released Parties from any liability whatsoever and waives any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, death or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or acceptance and use of the Prize (including claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. IF THE ENTRANT IS A MINOR, THEIR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES DESCRIBED IN THE PRECEDING SENTENCE OF THIS PARAGRAPH THAT MAY BE SUFFERED BY THE ENTRANT. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE SPONSOR OR THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY EQUIPMENT PROVIDED FOR USE IN THE PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF A RELEASED PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES (JOINTLY) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY EQUIPMENT PROVIDED FOR USE IN THE PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE EXCEED $10. THE LIMITATIONS OUTLINED IN THIS SECTION WILL NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY PRODUCTS BOUGHT FROM THE SPONSOR OR FOR THE RELEASED PARTIES' GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, OR FRAUD. AS A CONDITION OF ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, WINNER WILL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES THAT ARISE OUT OF WINNER'S ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION IN, USE, MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE, OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE (OR ANY COMPONENT THEREOF).

9. USE OF WINNER'S NAME AND LIKENESS: As a condition of being awarded any Prize, except where prohibited by law, the Winner (or if a Minor, Entrant's parent, or legal guardian) is required to execute a consent to use their name, hometown, aural and visual likeness, Prize information, and any content, photograph, film, video, footage, audio recording or other recordings of them or such materials in connection with their receipt of the Prize for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes (and on a public-facing winners list) without further permission or compensation. By participating in the Promotion, the Entrant (or if a Minor, Entrant's parent, or legal guardian) consents to being contacted by the Promotion Entities and Released Parties for any purpose in connection with this Promotion.

10. DISPUTES: These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without regard to Texas conflict of law provisions. By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant (or their parent or legal guardian if a Minor) irrevocably consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts in Dallas, Texas, for all disputes arising out of or relating to the Promotion. Any legal actions against the Sponsor must be commenced within two years after the claim arose. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Promotion or these Official Rules will be settled by binding arbitration before JAMS, Inc. and in accordance with the JAMS Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated individually and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. Each party shall be responsible for its costs incurred in such arbitration, but if the Entrant cannot afford to pay for the arbitration, the Entrant agrees to provide the Sponsor the option of paying the arbitrator before seeking to initiate any other form of dispute resolution, including litigation. The arbitration will be conducted in Dallas County, Texas, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding upon the parties without appeal or review. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Sponsor may immediately seek any interim or preliminary injunctive relief from any court of competent jurisdiction as necessary to protect its rights or property (including intellectual property rights).

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants (or if a Minor, Entrant's parent, or legal guardian) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Promotion Entities, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, at its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Promotion or any Entrant's participation in the Promotion should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the Promotion Entities’ reasonable control affect the administration, security or proper participation in the Promotion, or any of the Promotion Entities otherwise becomes (in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Promotion as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, violate any law, rule, or regulation in connection with participation in the Promotion, tamper with the operation of the Promotion, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Promotion, or any other Entrant (as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification, in which case, the Entrant's 7-Eleven App, Speedway App, 7REWARDS or Speedy Rewards account privileges may be revoked. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question, who have been disqualified, or otherwise ineligible to participate in the Promotion. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries received that contain inappropriate or offensive content. The Promotion Entities’ failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Any provision of these Official Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the extent permissible, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain in effect. The use of the terms "include" or "including" in these Official Rules is illustrative and not limiting.

12. PRIVACY: The information provided by Entrants will only be used as provided in these Terms or the Privacy Notice. See 7-Eleven's Privacy Notice at https://www.7-eleven.com/privacy and Speedway's Privacy Notice at https://www.speedway.com/about/privacy-policy for details regarding the use of the personal information collected in connection with this Promotion. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and such Privacy Notices, these Official Rules shall control. By participating, the Entrant (or if a Minor, Entrant's parent, or legal guardian) grants the Sponsor permission to share the Entrant's name, email address, and any other personally identifiable information with the Administrator solely for the purpose of Promotion administration and fulfillment.

13. WINNERS/OFFICIAL RULES: To request the list of Winners (first name, last initial, city, and state), send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope to Creative Zing / Make My Day with $5K - Period One Winners, 2100 E Robinson Street, Orlando, FL 32803. Requests must be received no later than September 30, 2025.
